Where did April go?
It's hard to believe it's already May!
Just a quick update.
PH and I started April in Maui. We loved the beaches and the snorkeling was fantastic. We were very thankful for the ride over and back from my company (especially since 2 companies flying to Hawaii went out of business during this time). We were thankful that Marriott not only gave us a free room (they took some reward points for it), but they also gave us a room about 15 feet from the ocean. I love to listen to the ocean--especially all night long!
Both PH and I had a bug of some sort in April. I was in bed several days--didn't feel like reading, so I did something I rarely do--watched television. I watched HGTV a lot--I suppose it might be because our house in an ongoing project and I need ideas as to what I should do next. I would really love to have a waterfall wall in our bedroom (they make it look really easy on HGTV) since I am not living on the beach. Then, I could listen to the waterfall all night. I have not talked PH into this yet, but I will continue to try.
I made it to OKC to visit my mom--she's an amazing woman--and we had a great visit. I also got to visit my college roomie--she always encourages me so much. It was a great trip.
We also celebrated PH's birthday--I love to celebrate!
I don't know if it was watching all that HGTV, but since I've been feeling better I've been spring cleaning with a vengeance. I even attacked my attic--and I haven't done that for a while. It feels so good to get things organized--so I continue to push along while I am in the mood. I know from experience it's likely to go away--so I want to get all I can done while I can.
I guess it really is May 1?

JB - we love Maui! The Missus and I will be there in July. I hope you found Mama's restaurant.
So glad you found your way back! I was afraid you had retired your blog or something. Were you able to see Maui Mama while you were there?
I am so jealous...I have yet to go to Hawaii once!!
Angi and I are big HGTV fans. Still can't believe you spent any time while in Maui watching it!
When I was in the security line at the L.A. airport two years ago, coming back from the Pepperdine Lectureship, I saw Suzanne Whang, host of "House Hunters" about 20 people behind me. Then she got shuffled to the near security queue and I was in line for the far one. Didn't even get to tell her how much we enjoy the show.
